My Approach
I want your child to feel relaxed in the environment they are working in. Whether this is about celebrating mistakes, making jokes, having a cup of tea or wearing slippers - whatever works for your child to produce their best work I will endeavour to create.
The environment is homely, warm and quiet. The table is oversized so we can have resources on the table to support their independence - also, the chairs are very comfy!
Every child has a personalised display, this is regularly updated and is a visual reminder of the areas they are finding tricky. I complete planning for every session, and the areas of difficulty I build into each session to keep it varied, and ensure the learning goes into their long term memory.
